What is hydroseeding?Hydroseeding is a process of combining seed, fertilizers, tackifier and wood or paper mulch with water in correct proportions inside a tank and then applying the mixture on designated areas.

Why does hydroseeding work so well?Seed is suspended in a slurry, or environment, that is perfect for seed germination. The seed contacting the water in the hydro seeder begins the germination cycle. Mulch seals in the moisture, creating a greenhouse effect, while the soil is held in place and the seed is at the correct depth for growth.

What grass can be grown from seed?Any grass that can germinate from seed. To determine what type of seed will best suite your property we will need to know a few details about the site. It is best if we can get a spec. sheet or you can call and we will be more than happy to help!

What will it look like afterwards?Hydroseeding will produce a pleasant, green appearance! This comes from the mulch in the hydro seeding mixture. Grass will begin to appear in 5 to 7 days depending on the moisture and temperature of the soil. Typically, a lawn should be ready to mow in a few weeks.
